EVERYTHING FOR EVERYONE

Gleeson's Lament
(written by Kruhm)
Look around everybody’s decked out in nice clothes, Tommy, to tha Gap, don’t forget about your Deveroes, Fashion emergency, just don’t wear generic? If it’s not A.F. my God don’t wear it. Worry about the day today, what will last for tomorrow?
So you go through friends closest, find something you might borrow. But it gets a bit expensive though. Cause big names can demand massive dough.  How it got that way? How am I supposed to know. Hey probably spend the money on good workers yo.
What, no? oh!! Look at the tags they sew, Not the machine wash part, the words right below. “Made in USA by good ol’ Joe Blow”
No, actually it says made in morocco! But they get the same wages over there.  Wrong again. Take what you make, find the square root and divide by ten.  I’ll bet now you thing the work is done by grown men.  Actually the factories are manned by children.  Sad thing about, everyone is guilty.  From me, to she, to he and yes, even Kathy Lee.  Cause its all about the profits, see?  As Dr. K. would say its all about the “quantity”.  “Survival of the fittest” is their philosophy.  Just like John Lazarow and Adam Smith would plea.  So the more you know, just like on NBC.  And I hope I don’t come off as contradictory.  But awareness should be raised, don’t you agree?  These kids are treated like “ol’ Tom Joad and the Okies.”  Not sayin trade in your Fubu, but if you did that’s okay.  Cause its FUBAC. For Us By Asian Kids.

Who can stop? You can stop it.
They can stop it, but they wont stop it.
He wont stop it and she wont stop it.
So Kruhm will stop it. Just. Like. This.

The Heathen
(written by Kruhm and Bob Marley)
To relate and negate all the hate was the concession
To right all the wrongs and write all the songs and sing all the stories of pain
The time’s ripe so they’ll to try to swipe my type of expression
But if they must they relinquish my trust and set off the gears in my brain
Remake what they take and try to break the oppression
To do it we gotta be coming up with a plot and what not to make it all change
Though we strive to survive in this tyrant’s session
You would figure the whole fight would set it right and make it not all in vain

Don’t put up with enslavement if that’s what you are given
If the government’s comin up at ya ya gotta be quick and ya gotta take action
Stand up for what you believe and if you revolt than be driven
Cuz the tyranny hides behind outdated laws to cover their flaws but that’s a distraction
If they suppress your rights than they don’t deserve to be forgiven
But if it comes to that give the fight all you got and just never loose sight or loose traction
And if they plan to use violence to try to silence your voice while you’re liven
As soon as you learn of it make sure you burn their shit don’t mitigate the reaction

Clone
(written by Kruhm)
Don’t think I didn’t see your head draggin when I pushed you off the train
You said the word-laggin bandwagon would affect my brain
You’re hand held by the media they’re feedin ya recyclable waste
But I know that with your luck you’re not stuck you’re just heedin to taste
I know cuz I’m the mainstream muckraker not a fake style taker
To protect her should be easy as cake but I let pop culture break her
Lately you’ve been nappin on the job and I’ve been scrappin for a style
And the whole time your jaw was flappin I’ve been rappin all the while
Leal Squad Gangstaz in the place in yo face without a doubt
With much love I’ll give your models somethin to smile about
Your hold on the market is a snake you can mold and twist
You’re not gonna tether me twice I’d rather slice my wrist
Just because you own the drone your profits rise to the seam
I see your blinding beam’s in my eyes still I’m wise to your scheme
So to all you wearers out there break your everyday stance
I see you buying all they make like they got you in a trance

Vandals
(written by Kruhm)
Let me tell you something it just came to me, It's about this world and what its come to be, Kids are fuckin up cars in the street ,
And looking for innocence to stomp with their feet, Pick on the lookers and harass them to no end, Go to sleep for the eve next they do it all again, Violence to mayhem to vandalous acts, To hell with these punks cuz they've stabbed us in the back,

Do they have nothin better to do than to mess with the property of me and you, Do they have a life so dull and boring that they'll be ruining our days until the early morn, Wake up one morning with the sun bright and glorious, Almost like a fairy tale that's where the story is, Go to school quite happily, Come home and have dinner with my family,  Go out with my friends cuz its Friday night, When little did I know they were looking to fight, The vandals they came they trashed my car, They beat in the sides with a crowbar, Then they ran off in the truck setting amazing speeds. Laughing together cuz they fulfilled their needs

I called up the cops I was in no shape to fight, I'd probably have killed someone and been in jail for the night, The cops shot a flare as they flagged down the truck, They rode to the seams and it was just our luck, Six vandals lighting up in the street
Without shirts on to escape the heat, The cops read them their rights then took them to the station, And then I thought to myself Goddamn what a waste

Do they have nothin better to do. Like a swarm they all formed on cue. Then to mess with the property of me and you. They vandalized without carin only sparin a few.  Do they have nothin better to do.  Jumpin every fence with common sense askew
Then to mess with the property of me and you.  They even trashed the cars of many people they knew.  Do they have nothin better to do.  When I confronted them insults at me they threw.  Then to mess with the property of me and you.  But now they don't screw with me the little punks withdrew.  Do they have nothin better to do?  Cuz they gave me a scare I'm going to share my secret with you.  Then to mess with the property of me and you.  They don't fuck with me cuz I got a crew too.

Confusing to a Stranga
(written by Kruhm)
Whoaaaaa......... What up it's the Kruhm Squad ... Ya'll know DJ Veed and Krazy Kraz  ... Ya'll know Teo and Dudley  ...
So here we go now!
It's K r U h M and with our sound, we're always tryin hard to get the crowd's feet up off the ground.  When they ask me "How do you get the crowd so close to violence?"  I say listen up and please give Kruhm your undivided silence.  We bust the show and if you must know just go.  To KruhmSquad.com but if you don't like don't fuss though cuz.  We are not some clone band, cover band, nor pop band.  We are not a damn boy band so relax and enjoy and we'll ignite the Nati with 42 Real.  And if you're messin with the best than like the rest you will feel.  Our wrath from above when we dive off the stage.  To open minds that are closed cuz you're blind and you're caged.  Why would you screw with a crew who caps on Nike sneakers?  Or whose words echo in 1000 speakers?  It may take some time but eventually you'll see how real Kruhm is and that we will never be

Strangers Let tha music flow through you
Strangers Relax let it sooth you
Strangers Sit back let it move you

From the deepest darkest depths to the upmost height
Common knowledge can't protect me from my right brain's spite
It follows me like a shadow but it still comes out at night
I turn around just to catch a glimpse but it eludes my line of sight
I wish to keep my distance but it begs me to attack
I could have sworn it told me to run but then it smacked me off the track
It can protect you from danger or make you fall through the crack
I trust it but later want to turn the clock back
I relied on my vision and I thought I was wise
And then I came to realize that your eyes tell lies
I can never cooperate cuz it can never compromise
I need to slip to get a grip and watch time as it flies
It gave me the night it had the evening right set
but the anticipation made me wet with sweat
Cuz I was unsteady I was not ready yet
From my decision is a vision I can never forget
I'm on life's eternal spill still I rush with born haste
Because I let the time jet there's no time to waste
And because my common sense has been long since replaced
It's my instinct on which this track verse is based
Your instinct protects you even when your brain's near
Instinct guards you you can't steer after beer
But now my instinct's gone I'm crushed by life's spear
Because when I look into the mirror, all I see is a

Kruhm is over here, no they're over there, no they're over here, no they're over there
No they're over here, no they're over there, no they're over here, I see some eyes
Behind that tree A big ass dude looking at me
Someone I can just barely see Standing about six foot three
Standing closer than he'd like to be Why twenty paces behind breathing heavily
This darkness causes pain inside of me This grown man in the bushes is acting silly
These footprints I leave are traced from behind Everyday same method I guess I'm easy to
find All back suits with light skin and white eyes maybe the devil himself Satan in disguise
I'm watching you over behind the bench and then I twist your emotions like a straight edged wrench cuz I feel it inside I never had make you think twice about driving your cab make you wonder about your mom and dad on your twenty-first birthday why are they making you sad but you are seeing things that you wish you had and then I throw them all away like an old school fad
If only I could shake this burden from within Stands close to me like my next of kin
It's a problem inside or is it truly behind the brush Constantly my life seems such a rush
Eye contact with the villain my face blush Eye to eye with fear himself
Some call him the root of all evil some call him black stealth Not a person but a spirit
Not tangible nor legible I can't hear it It's an aura an ideal a feeling inside
But it follows me closely no way to hide For some reason this fear peers in the darkness
I need to break the walls of this medieval fortress

Technine
(written by Kruhm)
Wake up, America, what's going on? We've got to talk about an issue that's far from being gone.  I'm talking about a problem that's been here for too long.  Because everybody turns their backs and acts like nothing's wrong.  Do you know the #1 killer of urban teenage boys?  Kids are getting hold of guns and they're treating them like toys.  I guess all the John Woo movies have strongly beckoned.  Because everyday hundreds are killed in one second.  Now lets say a dad goes out and gets a gun.  But he forgets about his boy who likes to have a little fun.  His son calls his friend and points it at him only joking.  But with a BANG his friend's head is splattered and the gun is smoking.  Now even though the dad got the gun only for protection. He will always live with the guilt and this horrible reflection.  Think twice about getting a gun if you've got a son or a daughter.  Because this father will go to jail for involuntary manslaughter.  Now I know guns are a constitutional right.  But is it right for a kid to die during a schoolyard fight?  And its true Amendment 2 is the right to bear arms.  But we have reconsider just who this really harms
It's not going to be some robber who gets shot.  It'll be a kid who doesn't know what's right and what's not.  If it does more harm than good than something's wrong.  And it's about time people knew what's been going on.  But don't take my word for it go see for yourself.  Read about the danger of keeping a gun on the shelf.  Now I don't wanna tell you what to do just because you may lack words.  I just think Americans have their priorities backwards.  I just don't understand how we can eliminate diseases
And not care when a kid blows his head to pieces.  And if no one cares about the lives of little girls and boys.  Then fuck it, I'll take out my Technine, load it, and make some noise!

Nine-Technine- you load the bullet in the hole but you don't know
Nine-Technine- stealin souls of the kids who pull and don't know
Nine-Technine- controll low irresponsible they don't know
Nine-Technine- bullet gold blood red now you're dead through the head

Now that I have pounded the topic in your ear .  Does that mean you have to do exactly what you hear?  And just because an entertainer feels a certain way.  Does that mean you have do exactly what they say?  Of course not don't let anybody tell you how to act.  Or you brain from your body you have agreed to subtract.  Exercise your right to make decisions on your own
Cuz that's the difference between a human being and a drone.  The media has a way of making you think the way they want
So don't rush out and get the clothes that they flaunt.  I'm not trying to cover this up this ain't a poem.  I'm saying too much media can infect your dome. And even something as impartial as the news.  Sells commercials and in that way impacts your views.  But MTV's the epitome of my plight.  I set my sights on the wrong and I fight to set it right.  You know all the perfect people on the Karaoke rounds?  Well they only take the girls under one hundred twenty pounds.  If you don't meet their standards they don't give a fuck.  And if you are a pound overweight then you're shit outta luck.  If A is to B as B is to C.  Then A and C are a match if you scratch out B.  That's why Backstreet and Nsync are all that you see.  It's cuz they are owned by Jive and Jive is owned by MTV
Their version of this world is see-through and hollow.  So if you don't think they're right then don't blindly follow.  Our country is based on perfect information.  So go get the facts if you feel the confrontation.  Shed your skin and fuckin open your eyes
Then and only then can see through their lies.  And when the shit people tell you pushes you to the brink.  Remember no one on this Earth can tell you what to think.

Mau Mau
(written by Kruhm)
To anyone who's been in trouble who has seen red and blue in their mirror,
We pay them the cash to make their lights flash and inspire our children with fear,
Near the deadliest turn my brother did learn that my stories could be down to earth,
On one summer night, he saw the light, he saw what his freedom was worth.
A car full of G's they did what they pleased, free from the devil in white,
And they just laughed when the engine was stalled, until the beam nullified sight,
He had pulled up behind 'em, used flashlight to blind 'em, and just because they were young,
He asked for I.D., not one but all three, not knowing their song would be sung.
He went back to his cruiser, and just like a boozer, he took his merry old time,
He scanned the whole night through, like he a right to, but he could do nothing till chime,
Of twelve o' clock when those streets you walk become off limits to you,
A half hour later the cop returned and said next time I'll bust you for curfew.

I thought I was untouchable
I thought I was unreachable
I thought I was untouchable
But I was just unteachable

Because the psycho is run by unethical shit

I'm on higher ground and I'm looking straight down
With the mike check sound it's amazing what I found
If you tell it right to their face about the reality of the big place
Bad food on top of bad taste dial 5'0 time for the chase
Cruised by with a cold stare passing the block more time than Weiss
As he pulled in the driveway tension began to increase
I guess that's why he thought he heard tranquility cease
It's ironic because they're claiming that we were disturbing the peace
With his nightstick and his flashlight he started fishing around
We dipped quick out of sight when on the door he started to pound
That's when I remembered only one charge on us could be found
That's jack and shit but wait jack won't be coming to town

Well I'm a cop I see a drop-top I go for the kill
No one crashed the party so I guess I will
I've already seen two offenses that will seal your fate
The first is that you're young second is you're out late
Looking all spiffy dressed by his mamma
He's seen less action than a made for TV drama
Yeah I do agree but look he's coming over
He's got a breathalyzer but don't worry cuz we're sober
Hi kids! Out for a midnight spin?
Well it's past your bedtime the curfew is ten
Let me see your license don't forget your registration
Cuz you're about to get dragged down to the police station
W to the T to the F what the funk
Just cuz I stalled don't mean that I'm drunk
Yeah, dude, it ain't even past curfew
But I got a go-kart license will this do?
Gimme that or like a cat to a rat
I'll throw you on the pavement and lay your face flat
Bring that brown bottle in your hand into the light
Don't play don't stray and don't put up a fight
No it's an IBC not a beer
So make like George Clinton, and get the funk out of here
OK, I guess I got it so I admit defeat
It's not a candy cigarette but it's a Swisher Sweet
Here comes the pyscho here comes the 5'0
Here comes the pyscho here comes the popo

Change Me

Eighteen years went by like a blur so fast that I- can't believe that
My whole world's about to change now so how- can I leave that
This time in my life is so live that I wish I- could freeze that
But now you tell me that I have to go away, but you just can't- really mean that
This place has cooped me up for so long that it has been long since- time to free that
Side of me that yearns and burns to learn about life so- I've got to see that
Future that is hidden behind a curtain though its certain- I'll realize
All that I am meant to be and meant to see- materialize
I can't wait to meet new people and expand my mind- it's just that
Deep down inside myself I'm afraid of what I will find- though I know
I have lived the life I want and I feel I've lived my best- it's true that
My whole youth I've spent studying life and college will be the test.
It's not that I'm scared of going I've waited my whole life- to be free
Of the course that I was forced to stick to and strict to- can't you see
I can't wait to be the final person I'm going to be
It's just that I don't want the hate in this world to change me.

You have got to get a sense of yourself before the future re-shapes you
There will be shit and it will make you want to bust but there is nothing you can do
Except be smart about the bullshit that you face and all the crazy things you do
Never let your guard down thinking it will go away or the changes will change you.

I was told to be myself to free myself from the wrongs- but what if
That of which they speak of is all that's going on- then I've got to
Find some place to release my stress and run and hide- find a place where
I can find myself again that's free from the outside- I know all the
Evil that swirls around you can drown you in a sea of pain- and that's when
What you need is a helping hand to shelter you from the rain- and I feel that
You've got to know who you are as a person inside and out- because it's true that
The future will change you and re-arrange you without a doubt- so think about it
And all the shit that you encounter can change you but still- you've got to know that
Nothing in this world can change you against your will- and you'll find that
You've got to be strong and you've go to march on wherever the road takes you
And know who you are now because it is the future that makes you
It's not that I'm scared of going I've waited my whole life- to be free
Of the course that I was forced to stick to and strict to- can't you see
I can't wait to be the final person I'm going to be
It's just that I don't want the hate in this world to change me.

You can't change me
You can't change me you can't change me
I won't let you change me, so don't try
I won't let you change me, I'd rather die
I won't let you change me, so don't try
I won't let you change me, I'd rather die.
